Submit Your Key Story
Guidelines for submitting the stories to The Key Story Project
When you tell a story you share a unique piece of yourself.
The idea for this project is to share a tiny piece of your history with Key. Your story can be long or it can be brief. It can be any sort of event. Going to a concert. Watching a video. Listening to a song. Thinking about an interview or an interaction. A meeting. Sharing his work with someone. Do you remember a time when your emotional state or circumstance or attitude was altered? When you look back, did things change for you?
Your story can be funny, serious or anything in between. A sentence or two is fine, up to around 600 words. The stories should not be NSFW, political or in bad taste. If you can place your story in time, please do. “The year SHINee
debuted or the other night when I was listening to EIGHTEEN” or whatever is
fine. The important thing is not how well you write or how sensational a story
you tell is. The important thing is that it’s honest and sincere.
Your own words are the best. They’re all different because we’re all different. If
there’s a story you aren’t sure how to tell, and if you want help, explain the issue
in the submission form and we’ll work it out. Stories may be minimally edited for
clarity.
These stories will be published in batches as soon as possible. If everyone who
loves Key and wants him back tells a story, there will be more than a few. It
might turn into a great resource for supporting the Hallyu wave. You never know.
